The Peery Habits program - the right place to start

The Peery Habits program consists of three levels and builds habits in four areas: practicing, muscular development (technic), practical skills (sight reading) and musicality. Classes are taught in groups of 4 in a station format and are 60 minutes in length. Stations 1 and 3 are private instruction stations, stations 2 and 4 are technology stations covering sight reading and theory on computers. Because our method of teaching how to practice and how to play is so unique all students, regardless of prior piano lesson experience, start in Level One Habits.

The Peery Players program

The Peery Players program utilizes the skills and habits learned in the Peery Habits program to develop our students into master musicians. Players students are taught to: perform standard classical repertoire, play by ear, chord popular tunes, and perform ensemble works. They also have an indepth knowledge of music theory and piano technic. Students are taught in groups of 3-5.

In the Peery Team Music program students explore the many aspects of music that go beyond the weekly lesson and discover their own 'Musical Personalities'. Team Music Certification and Student of the Year information .
