Guide Training
PPA students attending the MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA location who are in OR entering grades 6 and higher may participate in the Guide Training program. Guide Training graduates are offered paid teaching positions at the academy.
Fee: $60/3 month membership on www.peerypiano.com

STEPS TO BECOMING A PPA GUIDE
1) Enroll on www.peerypiano.com
2) Complete the following certifications from Essential Habits*:
Muscular Levels 1, 2 and 3
Practical Level 3
Musical Levels 1, 2 and 3
*if you were a Habits student and have completed all of the listed certifications please skip to the next section
UPON COMPLETION OF THE ABOVE CERTIFICATIONS:
1) email Mrs Skousen at christie@peerymusic.com and let her know you have completed all of the required certifications
2) Observe 4 Habits classes with written observations that are turned into Mrs Skousen
3) Teach 4 Habits classes with a current PPA Guide observing you and writing observations that are turned into Mrs Skousen
4) Schedule final Guide evaluation and written test with Mrs Skousen
Once passed off with Mrs Skousen you are now a PPA Guide!
