This is an excellent metronome that is easy to use and has a loud enough tick (avoid metronomes that beep!) to make it easy to hear even when playing the loudest passages.

Grand Pianos
If you can afford it, and/or are putting in 3 or more practice hours a day a top of the line instrument is essential. You need an instrument that will respond to your touch and is able to give you the wide range of sounds that we teach you how to make in the Peery Program.
When looking for a grand piano we recommend that you you play the piano first and many times over several days. Sit with it. Get to know it. Play every key. It is also a good idea to bring a piano technician with you to check out the piano before you buy. They can give you an unbiased opinion about the quality and condition of the piano.
