PEERY PIANO ACADEMY
MISC FEES
Enrollment fee for new students: $99 (non-refundable)
Fall scheduling fee: $50
Tuition increases occur each September.
Materials: Habits – included. Players – will be charged at the beginning of each level.

Peery Habits Program
Tuition $131.30/month
Includes:
- Weekly Habits class and Monthly Showcase class
- Certification opportunity with Master Teacher during monthly office hours
Transfer program: Tuition $183.82/month
Includes:
- Weekly habits class and monthly Showcase class
- 1x/month 30 minute private session with Master Teacher, scheduled by the students
- Certification opportunity with Master Teacher during monthly office hours
Peery Players Program
Levels 1-4: Tuition $131.30
Levels 5-7: Tuition $157.56
Levels 8-10: Tuition $178.57
Includes:
- Weekly Players class and Monthly Intermediate and Advanced skills training class
Peery Certification Program:
Included in tuition: in person monthly opportunity during Master Teacher office hours

- Video or email correspondence $120/hour with a minimum charge of $30.00 (15 min)
- In person lesson or consultation with a minimum charge of $60 (30 min)
- Classical Masterclass attendance for Habits or Players 1-7: $630/year

BUSINESS INFORMATION

• Materials for students in Peery Habits program. Peery curriculum workbooks are licensed for use and must be returned upon completion or withdrawal from PPA. Tuition charges will continue until all Peery workbooks are returned.
• Academy Recital held at the premier recital hall, Le Petit Trianon in San Jose
• PPA Year End festival
• Summer Ensemble Festival
• Yearly awards for each student based on their individual achievement and strengths
BILLING CYLE
Tuition payments can be made monthly or quarterly. Monthly payments are charged on the 1st of every month. Quarterly payments are charged on the first day of every quarter:
September 1, December 1, March 1, and June 1. Tuition is automatically pro-rated depending on start date.
Students enrolled in the Peery Piano Academy are responsible for paying the entire semester tuition in which they are enrolled.
Fall Semester: September 1st thru December 31st
Spring Semester: January 1st thru May 31st
Summer Semester: June 1st thru August 31st
Students are automatically enrolled on an ongoing basis until notice of withdrawal is received (see Cancellation Policy).
See the Peery Academy calendar online at www.peerymusic.com for specific dates of lessons, classes and recitals. Term lengths and dates follow what is written in the PPA policy and not when the student enrolls.
PAYMENT
Payments can be made using direct debit, Visa or MasterCard. All payment is processed by Music Business Solutions and will appear on your credit card or banking statement as MUBUS.
All tuition charges go through on the first day of the month. Your first tuition charge will go through on the first day of the first month after your lessons begin.
Your initial payment statement is the only bill you will receive. Please retain it for your records. It shows the tuition amount you will be charged each quarter or month depending on your payment plan preference. You can view your billing history, upcoming charges and update billing information by logging on to www.mubus.com using the username and password provided on your bill.
SUMMER SEMESTER
Summer semester includes 9 scheduled lessons (schedule determined by PPA), unlimited rescheduling and lesson swap options (for Habits classes only), online video lesson access, 3 pass offs with the Master Teacher, and participation in the PPA Ensemble Festival.
Students may also enroll in the PPA Summer Semester Independent Study Program (SSISP). SSISP includes online video lesson access and 3 pass offs with the Master Teacher (how to schedule time with the Master Teacher). Participation in the PPA Ensemble Festival can be included for an additional fee of $25. Students will automatically be enrolled in regular lessons unless notice of participation in SSISP is received before May 1st. Please send notification to info@peerymusic.com.
Tuition for SSISP: $42.02/month
CORRESPONDENCE
All PPA parents are required to sign up for automatic email subscriptions to the Peery Academy blog upon enrollment in order to keep up to date on events, announcements and schedules. Additionally, PPA students can contact our Director, Thomas Skousen or admin Amanda Mendes with questions, concerns and for consultations. Contact with Thomas and Amanda is included in tuition. Email contact or personal consultation with our Master Teacher, Christie Skousen is billed at $120/hour with a minimum charge of $30 per correspondence. How to schedule time with Mrs Skousen.

MATERIALS
Your tuition includes all the materials you will need for the Peery Habits program except for a metronome.
The standard enrollment fee of $99 will apply to all students re-enrolling after a wihdrawal.
