Parent Roles

– - Studio help – onsite help during your child’s class time. Picking things up, making sure class room stays orderly, no pens at stations, help any kids on computer stations that may need help.

– - Blog Posters - will post weekly or regular postings on the peeryacademy website/blog about the following topics or any other topic you think would be interesting. We are open to suggestions!

(1 needed) – tips about practicing
(1 needed) – Competition coordinator – locate competitions and post dates and application deadlines on PPA calendar and blog
(1 needed) – Library music/recordings – write blogs about music you like, different performers, favorite recordings, suggested listenings
(1 needed) – Events – track concerts and performances in the area. Post reviews of concerts attended.
(1 needed) – Proofreader – will read and edit all PPA posts for informational and grammatical accuracy

– - Festival Lead (1 needed) – organize and run committee meetings.  Make sure everything runs smoothly during festival.  Works with  Director and serves as his main point of contact for this event.

– - Festival Committee – help plan and organize festival.

– - Festival Help - help on the day of the festival: will be given a job during the festival to help keep the festival running smoothly.  You will be contacted by one of the festival committee members with job possibilities and details.

– - Trip Committee (3 needed) – help plan the yearly excursions, working with the director on location, dates and activities
