Why become a PPA Guide?
– Being a Guide gives relevance to each student’s piano study.
– It puts the student in a position of responsibility and relevance at the Academy.
– Guides get to share what they have learned with others.
– Guides earn scholarship money towards their tuition – often enough to get their lesson for free
– Students who are Guides are more likely to keep involved with the piano even during their busy junior high and high school years.
– Being a guide improves your own ability as a pianist – you always learn something better and at a deeper level when you have to teach it.
– Your experience as a Guide is also a great addition to scholarship, private school and college applications. Could be that extra something that gives you the edge over other applicants!
– Being a PPA Guide is fun!!
