Congratulations to the PPA students who passed the National Music Certificate examinations held December 2008. The scores are in and wow! you all did such a great job. The NMC program is dedicated to providing American music students with nationwide opportunities for achievement and evaluation. Each year more than 100,000 students
participate in the internationally recognized Certificate Program.
The judging in this program is very strict and the high scores PPA students receive, often receiving the highest scores in the state, reflect the strength of the world class training PPA students receive.
The PPA curriculum prepare students for the NMC exams. For Habits and Players participation in the examination is optional. For PPA Mastery students it is required. Examinations are held twice each year with the next examination in May. You can sign up now by going to www.nationalmusiccertificate.org . The application deadline for May examinations is February 24th.
If you do decide to apply, please let your teacher know so they can help you be fully prepared. Please enter the number 00363 for teacher number in the application process so we can keep track of your score and monitor your progress.
